You know as it ADSORBS moisture it’s creates liquid in that container. That’s the point of keeping the protective “material” on the top to prevent it from spilling out if knocked over. This is actually not made to be turned into a room scent.

A MUCH BETTER tip is leave the white protective paper on and drip essential oil through the paper. (The white paper helps if there is a spillage)
