@6abcactionnews: A man found himself having to up the pace as he was chased by a bear along a Gatlinburg street in Tennessee. Footage posted to TikTok by Rod Landers shows the man scurrying along the street and looking over his shoulder before the bear appears in the frame. Landers told Storyful he and his friend were walking down the strip when the strange scene unfolded. “I started videoing the police going down the road and someone running like they were running from the police and then the bear pops up,” he said. Landers added that he initially thought it was a woman running from the bear, and even captioned the footage “run lady run”. However, the man involved commented on Landers’ post and soon set the record straight. “That ain’t no lady that’s me,” he wrote, adding that he’d just come out from a steak dinner, and perhaps the bear smelled that.
