Now this is getting annoying, Billy spawned into the body of a boy with a loving family and memories intact. Tommy is in the body of an orphaned boy, he's obviously gonna be clinging on to the only family he knows about. Plus Billy grew up right next to Westview and probably got told Wanda was terrible or smth by the people that escaped.

Don't hate on Billy. He was reincarnated into a loving and caring family. He lived with them for three years when he barely knew Wanda was his real mother because he hadn't realized it yet. Obviously, there's a comparison, and he doesn't accept that she's his mother because of all the bad things people say Wanda did and how they portray her as evil. Now, with Tommy, he was reincarnated as someone who was an orphan, treated horribly, abused, and traumatized from when he was drowned. Compared to what he vaguely remembers of Wanda, it's obviously the most beautiful thing he's ever experienced and the only good thing he remembers.

omg billy barely remembers her. and he was reincarnated into a boy with a loving family. he has a mother. and a father. he feels a connection to tommy as his twin, and a boy who died, like him. which is why he wants to find him. he doesn’t really care about wanda, or vision. and that’s fine. meanwhile tommy was reincarnated into a boy with no family, and (unlike billy) actually remembers wanda and vision. he remembers them as parents. both boys are in completely different situation when it comes to their memories and how they view wanda, and both are valid!

Think of it like going your whole life without knowing you're adopted and finding out you're adopted and not wanting to believe it because your parents love you and treat you as they should and then sprinkle in magic, trauma, death and resurrection, and an identity crisis. Tommy is an orphan and had his memories of Wanda and had that emotional connection but didn't understand so he also had an identity crisis
