germany here. I remember watching the accident live. this was one of the biggest shows in Germany ever. it was a once a month family event watching this. us kids were allowed to stay up way to late since the show always went overtime. (I mean hours overtime) watching wetten dass Back now is a very hard watch. Thomas Gottschalk, the host, is unbearably misogynistic and an overall bad interviewer. the bets went from spectacular to boring as hell. there were accidents before this one but man.. that was so scary to watch.
