I have been dropped into drama I can’t even understand. I’m hearing numbers and seeing cards and have no idea what anything means. I don’t understand trading at all. I would get scammed super quickly I think

Makes absolutely no sense, as a vendor I always go off of last sold, no bids, no auctions, nothing besides last sold, so in the end “boosters and bangers” absolutely scammed that guy.

I don’t know how people consider not reversing the trade scummy. The guy failed to do research on his own cards to see how valuable they were yet he goes around and claims he is a vendor, then he gets upsets that the card drops in value so only then does he try to get his stuff back. If the card had appreciated and his slabs went down in value, I doubt this conversation would even be happening

kid messes up a deal, trade back. adult messes up the deal, maybe work something out where they still lose but not as bad and you don't look like the bad guy. 2 vendors mess up a deal, tough luck learn from it and move on.

It’s would have been courteous of Brian to take the fair reversal keeping the $6k half art, but he’s not a dick for not taking it. Stupid maybe, but not a dick. They agreed on the comp. That was also stupid, as you should comp off SALES, not listings. And definitely not prospective bids. Both sides dumb af, but Brian not a dick.

At any other convention, buyers wouldn’t have the balls to go back to a seller and ask to cancel a sale. Not sure why Pokémon community seems it’s ok to change your mind and ask for re-do’s. Gtta do research ahead of time.

Everyone is completely passing over the fact that boosters fully knew the card was a shilled card AND actually had done the proper research just like any rational 20k buyer would do and was playing hot potato with it trying to offload it to someone with less knowledge or experience.
