first baby shower invited 60 plus people, 12 came. this second shower I did a sprinkle and only invited a few, still less than half showed. but at least I had realistic expectations this time

Your not alone my baby shower was an hour from my mom 2-3 hours from everyone else. Said it was too far, invited my dad and sisters cause they wanted to work on our bond and they didn’t show up either. I had not a single family of mine at my baby shower.

Awww this happened to my daughter for her 2nd! I rented a hall and did the whole thing up beautiful with tons of snacks and food! We had so many rsvp saying that would be there!! My bff and her daughter were the only 2 that showed up 😭 my heart broke for her!!! Idc about the cost n waste! It was watching her!!! His family all said they were coming n not one showed up!! This is why I show up to every single event I am invited to. Birthday parties, baby showers, family dinners, all of it. and I make damn sure my kids do, too. If my child was invited to a birthday party, we're going.
