yeah it's a pattern i even noticed as a white person from the very beginning of the show, there is definitely a racial bias. i think it's also interesting to see how one or two people's unconscious bias can snowball in a social group like that because if you're hearing the arguments for why you shouldn't trust someone you then start to get confirmation bias. it can start as one person's conscious or unconscious bias of "they don't look trustworthy to me" and as soon as they voice it people can start to internalise it and propagate it themselves

Well said. An environment where you're guessing at who you think is suspicious or trustworthy is the exact sort of environment where unconscious bias starts putting weight on the scales no matter the intent or ethics of the people involved. Especially when people are under pressure and being less rational about decisions. It's the shit you absorb from the racism of the world around you without even realising.

There was no unconscious bias. There wasn’t any. A woman who backed a man who was a Traitor, before then suddenly voting for him, also WINKING at him as she did so… is the reason she was banished. On top of what happened with Hannah a day later. In last years series, Cat Burns, David Olosuga and Nick Mohammed made it to the FINAL. Two black people and a man who’s half Trinidadian/Cypriot. What this immediately conclusively proves… is that there isn’t any bias. None at all.

My hot take is this show is for white people to enjoy, I can’t watch poc’s being the suspect everyday in real life and for “entertainment tv”
