Understanding she had full custody, when Jon learned from his kids that Colin didn’t go to school anymore, Why didnt he question that. Would that be something he want to understand? Obviously him talking to Kate would go nowhere but surely through the courts he would’ve been able to get some answers. Or tried to at least.

his publisher will also have had their lawyers go through EVERY claim he made in the book and in order for it to be printed as “this happened” - he needs to provide witnesses who can attest to it happening as he said, or physical evidence of whatever he’s alleging. and that goes for EVERY story in the book. without that, publishers will make you change the phrasing to “I think” or “from what I remember” but STILL will make you take out anything that’s remotely controversial that can’t be backed up. I bet the 1st draft showed she was even worse, poor kid
