@stylemaxdes: What if the problem isn’t that you don’t have personal style — it’s that the fashion cycle keeps making too many decisions for you? 🤔 I’m calling this The Untrend Theory — my personal style approach for making your outfits feel more distinctive in a world where we’re all seeing the same trends, the same outfit inspiration, and the same “must-have” pieces. The concept is simple: When everybody is being told to wear the same thing, look at the trend and ask: ✨ What’s a trend dominating the fashion conversation right now? ✨ What could I introduce instead to contrast that? ✨ How can I style the alternative so it still feels like ME? That doesn’t mean you have to reject fashion trends or dress “anti-trend” OR even wear the opposite just for the sake of doing so. The point is to use the trend as information about where the same this is happening — then decide where you want to create contrast and personalize 🎯• Because trends can give you information about what’s happening in fashion — but they shouldn’t become instructions for your personal style. That’s how you build a real point of view!
