Letting him figure it out on his own is ✨mental enrichment✨, thats the whole reason I wouldn't help. Not because I'd be laughing my ass off or anything... 🥲

Oscar & Nature Escapes :
A little secret about Oscar and his sticks... ❤️🐾
He actually has his own stick rotation system! He keeps collections of sticks in different spots around the woods, regularly goes back to them, and sometimes moves his favourites from one place to another. I'm not even joking! 😁
If you're curious, there are two videos on our profile: "What Happens to All His Sticks?" and "A Little Evidence of How New Items Get Added". They show a little more of this funny habit of his.
And for everyone wondering why I didn't help him on the bridge...
Oscar has loved solving problems since he was a puppy. He grew up with puzzle toys, little challenges and training, and we also worked with a behaviourist when he was younger. Over the years, I've learned how much he enjoys figuring things out for himself.
He doesn't always want my help, especially when he's proudly carrying one of his precious sticks! And believe me, when he does need me, he knows how to let me know. As long as he's safe, I love giving him the time and space to work things out.
Thank you so much for watching, cheering him on and sharing these little adventures with us. I've been reading your comments, and seeing how many of you were rooting for him genuinely made me smile.
It means more to us than you probably realise.
Damian & Oscar ❤️🐾

What's the point though? He's not a child. He's not going to grow up to be the CEO of the first stick-carrying company in the country.
Wouldn't he enjoy some team play (i.e. hints)? 🤔

I love how you let him figure it out without rushing. Just letting him dog. most people tell there dogs to move on so fast from everything.

It’s good for their one brain cell to get some exercise 😂 This probably tired him out more than the walk. Takes a lot of brain cell effort to work it out. 🥰 And he did good!!! ❤️
