@mrmahlangu70: 📽Description Western media loves to slap the "xenophobia" label on every social uprising in the Global South to dismiss legitimate working-class struggles. But the reality in South Africa right now is much deeper than the mainstream narrative wants you to believe. 🇿🇦👁️🗨️ As protests erupt in Johannesburg and Durban, the US State Department is quick to issue security alerts for Americans. Meanwhile, Western-funded NGOs and international courts are pushing asylum policies that completely ignore the severe resource strain on local communities. The recent controversy involving the Scalabrini Centre and the Immigration Advisory Board is a textbook example of the NGO-industrial complex pushing neoliberal border agendas while the local working class suffers. 🏛️💸 South Africans are exhausted. The government moves at lightning speed to appease international courts and foreign pressure, yet shows zero urgency when it comes to protecting its own citizens from violent crime, poverty, and failing public services. Decades of imperialist extraction and neoliberal policies have hollowed out the economy, and now the poor are being pitted against the poor. 📉✊🏾 A crucial warning to the people on the ground: Do NOT destroy your own infrastructure. The corrupt political elite will just use the chaos to hand out millions in "rebuilding contracts" to their cronies. Direct your anger at the system and the politicians failing you! 🗣️🚫 Drop your thoughts in the comments—how do we break the cycle of the Global South being dictated by Western NGOs and media narratives? 👇🏾🌍 #SouthAfrica #AntiImperialism #GlobalSouth #Johannesburg #Neoliberalism
