In all honesty…….. As a Maryland fan who tf is going to come coach us tbh. No bs we have great pieces and Locks is a great recruiter at keeping some of the homegrown talent in the DMV here but we had a chance a couple of years ago before Indiana hired Curt to get him from JMU but we didn’t so unless we swing big we’re not getting someone who would keep the talent in-house

could it be, the players don't want that at this point in the season? To fire the coach, you have to consider what happens in that locker room when it goes down. If he's lost the team, it's a no brainer. Get out in front. If the team supports their coach, it may be best to let him finish the season.

As a Maryland fan we are never going to be a serious football program that being said it’s one thing to not be good and another to be a complete joke. It’s not just losing it HOW we lose. They do the stupidest stuff I’ve ever seen at the college level. It almost looks like they are trying to look bad

Locksley is all but gone it's just not been officially done. It is either going to be after the game on Saturday since they have a bye week after or they are going to wait until the end of the season.

It’s such a mess, I think he’s guaranteed to be canned but who knows when. It doesn’t help that Mike locksley still has a bunch of yes men around the program that blame the fans or talk about how it’s impossible to win at Maryland. Like we aren’t expecting to be the next Indiana but could we at least win a single game against a ranked conference opponent. We’re like 0-40.

I don't know how deep Maryland's pockets are, bit the rumors are Coack Eck over here in New Mexico will be highly sought after when the season is done. Especially seeing how we have the inside track to be the power 6 playoff team should we win out. The funny thing is New Mexico is where current Maryland coach, Mike Locksley was at for his last HC job and he won 2 games in 2 1/2 years before he was fired mid season of his third year. I think Eck won't be looking for a half jump though. I think he'll be looking for a bigger Big10 job.

I thought it was either before the bye week (so this Sunday) or at the end of the season, since that saves like $3 million in buyout money. But my understanding is that the hiring process is already underway regardless
