@happysadconfused: #JamesMcAvoy shares details on the #STARTREK series he pitched about young Picard

Dreimal darfst du raten. :

James McAvoy is 47 now, same age as Patrick Stewart in Star Trek TNG Season 1

Widgeon :

Sir Patrick should start pitching spinoffs where plays the old version of McAvoy roles to head him off at the pass.

topkat2000 :

HE HAS TO DO IT NOW! RIP sir Patrick

Tony 📷 :

I’ve officially greenlit this.

Mic Cillian 🏴‍☠️🇨🇦 :

I'd watch the hell out of that.

Jason Spencer :

that would be astonishing to see.

Farmers Only Daily :

I’m sold on him as Picard

Kaitrin Snodgrass :

Why would you tell me this and not give it to me

Norman :

I would actually love seeing a story about how Picard was this brash, educated anthropologist captain when he was young, but going through ordeal and especially losing Jack Crusher turned him into the distant, stoic military man we see in Season 1 of TNG. It would really elevate Picard's arc over the series of rediscovering joy and companionship.

Toxic Blade :

he's old

Tovarish :

Bro I want this

P3imcharmed4ever :

Why did nobody do this?

Tristan Hilliard :

Would absolutely watch! Picard was in Star Fleet for thirty’ish years before TNG even starts and that part of his career is so vague. He spent almost a decade without a ship between the end of his time on Stargazer and commanding Enterprise. What was he doing?!

The mouth of Ralf :

XyrianZ :

He's the same age that Stewart was when TNG started.

Andycognac :

Great, now I want to see McAvoy face up against some Nausicaans.

Frank Garcia :

That would have been awesome!

WranglerMac :

Please tell Mcavoy redo the version of Christmas Carol similar to the one Patrick did in the late 90s

Johnny Heck :

Dammit

xMorbidGodx :

OMG yes Please!!!!

floydcrisp459 :

MAKE IT HAPPEN NOW! 🔥🔥🔥

wisdom from the other end :
