I’m with you as someone who’s been good and told every MAGA they were voting against their own self interest but GDP and the stock market are unrelated honestly. I worked on Wall St for 7 years as an asset manager and the last 7 years consulting all areas of asset management and capital markets, the stock market is behavioral and reflect sentiment instead of actual company performance but that doesn’t prevent them from laying off people to meet shareholder/investor expectations. Getting my MBA from Wharton made most of us less capitalist or more capitalism with a buffer and ceiling
