And when you say, “I don’t want to feel like a burden to others,” it might come across as though you think others would be a burden to you. But that’s not the case. There’s a genuine comfort in being able to help someone figure out their worries or being the person they can vent to without feeling like they’re too much. As for the question, “Who do we turn to now?” that’s a question I’ve asked myself for so long that I’ve become so accustomed to figuring out my inner burdens alone that I’ve eventually made peace with it.🥲
