I’d also like to add, children don’t need to be entertained 24/7! It’s okay for them to be bored sometimes. It creates resilience and encourages them to be more creative individuals. It also really helps to predict their needs and set them up for success by not leaving stuff out that you don’t want them in, having food easily accessible to them (provided they ask prior so they’re not just eating snacks all day), water already filled up, etc. Then you’re not having to say no as often and she doesn’t need you on demand when things are already ready for her to use independently! You’re doing amazing!!!

The amount of joy and guilt I had when finding out I was pregnant with my (very wanted and planned) second baby was insane. The last day before I went in for my induction I cradled my first born all day and felt so miserable. He was also the type of baby that would make you question having another.. but he’s the best big brother and is so understanding

Thank you for sharing! My first two postpartum experiences were completely opposite from each other. I just had my third and it’s a bit of a combo. But I will say that the most surprising part of a third is how CONFIDENT I feel. 😅

The day I came home from the hospital with the tinny baby and looked at my 4 year old was crazy. Suddenly he seemed to be so big and his hands looked gigantic to me. I cried. So hard.
