@catcharium: Stop casting as far as you can. 🎣 The fish are all sitting on one invisible line: the drop-off, where the shallow shelf by the bank suddenly falls away into deep water. Fish rest on the deep side, where it's safe and cool, and pop up onto the shelf to eat (it's like living right next to the fridge). Early and late in the day they move up shallow; when the sun gets high they slide back over the edge. To find it from the bank, look at the color of the water: light where it's shallow, dark where it gets deep. The line between them is the drop-off. Cast just past it and bring your bait back right over the edge. On a steep bank the edge can be right at your feet. Even better spots on that edge: the weedline, points, a fallen tree, and where a creek flows in. Forget the long cast. Fish the edge. #fishing #lakefishing #fishingtips #bassfishing
