kyokyo is such an interesting character. the way we are introduced to her, we are led to believe she is purely a selfish and abrasive person. but she has just as much of a capacity to feel empathy as deeply as someone like madoka does.

Kyoko always consistently offers food out to someone when she’s trying to befriend them! It’s a way she shows her trust, it’s a detail they’ve kept throughout all PMMM media including WnK and I think it’s a very cute little character detail.

i think it also represents how her morals changed throughout the series, we first met her to be selfish and not sharing grief seeds even going to lengths as far as letting people die so she can get them. as sayaka made kyoko realise magical girls were meant to work together, she started sharing her food as a way to connect with other girls as its one of her favourite things

I think It's really sweet because she values food a ton due to her family being dirt poor and starving to death basically and despite that she's willing to give some to people she cares about (she only gets mad because Sayaka threw the apple on the ground and wasted it)
