I imported a 2019 car just two months ago and paid GH₵44,920 in duties. Let’s obey our country’s laws. Just because a 2010 car costs less than $1,500 abroad doesn’t mean you should import it and complain. This isn’t about the government; it’s about indiscipline and refusing to take responsibility for your choices. No one will buy that car at that price

so why can't you buy the current model and get lesser duty . why must we fight for the duty to be reduced when the duty on an aged car is to discourage people from bringing it into the country. 😏. when all the resources are there for you to check your duty fees and do your research before importing the car. if you still insisted on bringing it in you shouldn't complain honestly. sometimes we should be truthful to ourselves.
