yes, there are small variations in wording between manuscripts. But here's what matters: none of those variations change who Jesus is, that He is God come in the flesh, that He died for our sins, or that He rose again. The disputed passages like Mark 16 or John 8 don't affect the core Gospel message at all every single essential truth is confirmed across thousands of manuscripts, early copies, and quotations from the very first centuries. We don't claim every single word is perfectly identical across every copy but we do know the story of Jesus and the way of salvation has been preserved faithfully, and it's been right there from the beginning. Even with those dates that's still well within the lifetime of people who personally knew Jesus. Someone who was 20 when Jesus died would only be 90 in 100 AD plenty of eyewitnesses were still around to verify what was written and yes, we don't have the original manuscripts but neither does anyone for any ancient book😁. What we do have for the New Testament is thousands of manuscripts, some dating just decades after the originals. Even they admit scholars can reconstruct the text with 'a high degree of confidence' and that confidence applies most of all to the core truths about Jesus. No textual variant has ever changed who He is, that He died for us, or that He rose again. The New Testament has over 5,800 known Greek manuscripts, far more than any other ancient work, with some fragments dating to the 2nd century that's what scholars mean by best-preserved among ancient texts. That's a fact, not just a claim.
and yes, the Quran has its own history memorisation is a wonderful thing but not so wonderfull when people memorized the lies befoure all th qurans got burnt and kept ONE!! 😳 you dont burn the truth!! memorisation doesn't equal historical eyewitness. The Gospels were written by people connected to actual eyewitnesses, within living memory of the events themselves. The question isn't just about preservation it's about what was preserved. We have multiple independent accounts, written close to the events, that all confirm the same core truth: Jesus died and rose again. That's the foundaiton I stand on ✝️
