I run a handyman business, luckily ended up in the luxury space but I tell everybody it’s insane how low the barrier for entry is. Show up on time, do good work, don’t be intoxicated or hung over. That’s literally it, you’ll crush.

I love the concept-but this isn’t always true. Sure if there are 4 pool cleaners in town yes you can kill it but if you’re competing in say the liquor store industry where there’s 1 liquor store every 8 blocks this would be not enough unfortunately. I like the simplicity to the msg though -it can be true under the right circumstances

It's true you will get business by being better than the other guy, however in a service business you have to be able to manage people as you scale. Hard part is when you have 1000's of employees.
