@nidramok: Save your cucumber seeds for next year 🥒🌱 A few important things I’ve learned: • Don’t use a cucumber you’d normally pick for eating. Let it fully mature on the vine — it may get large and turn yellow. • Choose fruit from a healthy, productive plant. • Open-pollinated or heirloom varieties are best for saving. F1 hybrids may grow differently next year. • Cucumbers can cross-pollinate with other cucumber varieties nearby, so saved seeds may not always grow true to the parent. • Remove the mature seeds, clean off the pulp, and let them dry completely. • Never pack seeds away while they’re still damp. • Label the variety and year — you’ll thank yourself later. • Store completely dry seeds somewhere cool, dark, and dry until planting time.
