@evanbnormal: Is leaving the answer for people in their 20s? After a year and a half of interviewing people on the street, I’ve heard “emigrate” a few times by now… And I’m not saying staying in the UK is for everyone, or even that I necessarily want to either! But it’s made me wonder whether “just emigrate” is a bit too simple. There’s clearly opportunity out there, but are we sometimes imagining somewhere untouched by the problems we’re trying to leave? I’m still figuring this out myself. I’d be interested to hear from people who’ve moved: What got better, and what challenges came with it? 💬
