Today I let my best friend of 19yrs cross the rainbow 🌈 bridge. Once again not an easy decision. I knew it was coming. Spider never let it show that she was old she was always ornery and LOUD and let you know she was around. Today I let my best friend of 19yrs cross the rainbow 🌈 bridge. Once again not an easy decision. I knew it was coming. Spider never let it show that she was old she was always ornery and LOUD and let you know she was around. I didn't adopt her....she was from a litter of kittens of mine....and then my cousin Sarah always brought her over and said "grandma needs a cat!!" Grandpa was literally dead set on NOT having another cat, but then came around after having her in his lap for 2.5 seconds (I have the photo somewhere I just can't seem to locate it)🤣 he then said "FINE, she can stay!" And for 19yrs you have been a permanent fixture in my life. You may have been mine first but you were grandmas baby. You lived by your name....you were NOT scared of dog on the other side of the fence you climbed it or the screen door when you also climbed that, and when you wanted to be alone you would hide under the hutches in the house (it took time to locate you) You were Nala's first buddy and wouldn't leave her side, and then she got sick and went home....and then I got Ginger...and for 9 months you were her best friend and my morning coffee buddy...you are already missed by Athena and Ginger and most importantly ME. You are now home with grandma, grandpa and Nala. The family is now complete. Rest easy baby girl. I love and miss you, but I already know you are no longer in pain and running free bugging Nala. You were probably the best cat I have ever had and the easiest cat too. Your snuggles were the best. Now go snuggle grandma, I am sure she has missed you the most. ❤️ #petloss #mykitty #heartbroken💔💔
