@thesameerproject: Look at these smiles. The pure happiness of having a new pair of shoes to walk to school in, to sit in a classroom with pride and dignity. Something so small, so ordinary, yet so meaningful to children who have been deprived of nearly everything. On October 5, The Sameer Project, in partnership with The Small Steps, provided 343 students at Dar Al-Huda School in Beit Lahia, North Gaza, with new shoes. These 343 children were reminded that they deserve more than survival. They deserve joy, dignity, and a childhood. The total cost of the shoes and clown to distribute them in a fun way was roughly $4,690 after 11% commission. These children deserve the world, if a pair of new shoes makes them happy for a moment, help us provide this. Support our back to school campaign in the JustGiving link if you’re in the UK of our General Fund.
