@factinmotion: Original Video Credit: IG/shokhida_abdurazakovna One by one, straight lines connect the marked points on the whiteboard, gradually transforming a simple collection of dots into a complex triangular geometric pattern. The structure is created through repeated geometric relationships, where smaller triangles and spaces form within the larger shape. Patterns such as the Sierpinski triangle demonstrate how simple rules can be repeated recursively to produce intricate fractal geometry. Fractals are important because they show how simple mathematical rules can generate remarkably complex structures. Similar self repeating patterns appear throughout mathematics, computer graphics, architecture, and even natural formations such as branching plants and snowflakes. Colby LeRoy :
That’s… not quite how a Sierpinski triangle is made. You assign the numbers one through three to the vertices of a triangle. Then, starting at a random point within the triangle, measure a 2/3rds of the distance from that point to a randomly-selected vertice and place a point. From that point, measure 2/3rds to a random vertice again and place another point. Repeating those steps ad infinitum, the accumulated points will reveal the pattern of the Sierpinski triangle fractal.
