Il cherche ses mots... il regarde au loin en s'éloignant, c'est pas à l'extérieur qu'il faut que tu cherches.... Mais bien à l'intérieur... C'est flagrant de sens.

DFW is getting another commercial airport, and starting November 11, North Texas travelers will have a new option besides DFW International Airport and Dallas Love Field. McKinney National Airport is preparing to open its brand-new passenger terminal, bringing scheduled commercial airline service to Collin County for the first time. And this is a pretty significant milestone for one of the fastest-growing areas of North Texas. The new terminal is approximately 46,000 square feet and includes: * Four passenger gates, with room to expand to six * Nearly 1,000 parking spaces * A new passenger facility designed for scheduled commercial flights Avelo Airlines will be the airport’s first commercial carrier, with flights launching to several destinations throughout November. The initial schedule includes: * November 11: Fort Myers * November 12: Las Vegas and Orlando * November 19: Tampa and Fort Lauderdale And the airline is already planning to expand. By mid-December, Avelo expects to add Denver, Atlanta, Nashville and New Orleans, bringing McKinney to nine nonstop destinations. Avelo also plans to base three Boeing 737 aircraft at the airport and create more than 100 local aviation jobs. But here’s why this matters beyond the airport itself. For residents in McKinney, Frisco, Prosper, Celina and surrounding Collin County communities, flying out of McKinney could mean avoiding the longer drive to DFW Airport or Love Field. And as North Texas continues expanding northward, having another commercial airport could become increasingly important. McKinney is starting small, with one airline and four gates, but this could be the beginning of something much bigger. DFW has two major commercial airports today. Starting November 11, travelers will have a third option. Would you consider flying out of McKinney instead of DFW or Love Field if it meant a shorter drive, even with fewer nonstop destinations? #McKinneyTX #CollinCounty #AveloAirlines #DFWDevelopment #DevelopingDFW
