@browneyedgurl801: David Beckham knows how to pose for a photo. What he can’t control is who he sits next to. On Sunday, at the Venetian Arena in Macao, the 51-year-old former soccer player took a courtside seat next to Yao Ming to watch the Dallas Mavericks beat the Houston Rockets. Beckham, who is 1.83 m tall, arrived wearing a denim jacket, black pants, and spotless white sneakers. Yao, 46 and 2.29 m tall, showed up in navy blue and a black polo shirt. According to Yahoo Sports, even sitting down, the former basketball player looked much taller. The NBA posted a video of the two, and the comments did the rest. “David looks like a kid next to Yao,” one fan wrote. Another quipped: “Me sitting next to the guy who ate his vegetables as a kid.” Beckham, meanwhile, also posed with players from both teams and Mavericks owner Patrick Dumont. And on Instagram, rather than taking offense, he called him “my old friend.” When you’re Beckham, even looking small, you do it in style.
