@chloethorpaws: A mother, a baby, and a refusal to give up on either. 📚❤️ In 2018, Jahantab Ahmadi, a 25-year-old farmer and mother of three from Afghanistan’s Daikundi province, traveled roughly 11 hours to take a university entrance exam in Nili. Her journey included two hours on foot through mountains and nine hours on public transport. During the exam, her baby became unsettled. Jahantab moved from her desk to the ground, cradled her child in her lap, and kept writing. She passed. A lecturer’s photograph brought international attention to her determination, and a fundraising campaign drew donations to support her education. “I don’t want to be deprived of my studies,” she told AFP.
