I worry he'll feel blind sided. I've brought up what I want, to travel with him, to save up for a house, to get a dog before having a baby. but they don't turn into much of a conversation and also never happen. he knows I want these things, is that enough or do I need to make it clear that I'm ready to leave because of them?

I did this and they were devastated, hyperventilating, crying, etc and I felt like I was their only emotional support to help them deal with my decision, very difficult feeling

I did this recently, I was leaving him and he told me I didnt try hard enough 😔 but I just couldnt do it anymore 8 years and 2 kids, Its now easier without him, after almost 2 weeks I feel so much better, feel like I can breathe, i have more time and patience for my kids, my house is cleaner, its hard but im glad ive done it now rather than later when the kids are older ☺️

Just broke up with him two days ago and it just came out, it didn’t feel great but at the same time it needed to be done. The most surprising thing about the conversation was how short it was and having the realization that it just comes to an end just like that.

Now I’m getting ptsd again. Being abandoned blindsided really traumatized me so much that I don’t wanna date anyone again. I went to therapy for years but still it’s so sad
