my daughters father posted on Facebook " if anyone talk to Sarah let her daughter died" she wasn't even 6 months old and she was staying with her grandma. they found her dead at 9am I didn't find out until 11pm I was in a sober living

:Same thing happened to me, I was at work look at my phone got on Facebook. I saw my daughters car accident all over Facebook. People who didn't even know her, posting she passed her car pics. The next 4 hours I'm calling hospital trying to find her, she was listening as Jane doe because her car was so bad they couldn't find anything to identify her or her family. 4 hours of hell and Facebook comments thinking my baby died. Thankfully she survived. 2 weeks in the ICU, she has rods in both legs hips arms and shoulders took her 6 months to learn how to walk again. I am so against people posting on Facebook stuff like this yes I found out her accident this way. I aslo went through hell because of all the pics and people comments saying what happened. One guy even made a post about her arms being rip off he saw it He said . He wasn't even there . Wish people had more understanding about things like this.

No one should EVER find out a loved one especially their children have died via any social media! I’ve never understood why so many are quick to jump to post! I’ve had to find out twice in less than 6 months apart that 2 family members had died. It is the most heartbreaking thing. No one should ever have to find out that way…
