@theatre_of_dreamstv: 🚨🎙️ Patrice Evra on Benjamin Sesko’s injury update: 🗣️ “This is exactly what Lisandro Martínez was talking about. Now Sesko is injured, and depending on the severity of that injury, Manchester United could be without him for a significant period. Who is going to replace him? Mbeumo? Rashford? 😂 They can play in that position, but they cannot offer everything a proper No. 9 brings to the team. You need a striker who can lead the line, occupy centre-backs, attack crosses, hold up the ball and consistently provide a goal threat. When other clubs were buying players in the summer, Manchester United were busy leaving important gaps in their squad. How can you expect to compete for major trophies when you don’t have adequate cover for key positions? One injury and suddenly you’re asking players to perform roles they weren’t brought in to play. This is not about disrespecting Mbeumo or Rashford. They’re good players, but having them as alternatives doesn’t mean the squad has everything it needs. A serious club plans for these situations before they happen. This is why recruitment matters. You don’t just buy players for the starting eleven; you build a squad capable of competing throughout the entire season. At some point, the people running this club need to stop making excuses and start showing that they have a clear plan."
