Don't buy the lift kind! I returned it so fast and went back to my 30 year old tilt head. It just needed some new grease and it was like new.

I do a LOT of baking and not just baking but making buttercream frosting. I thought I would upgrade my mixer a couple of years ago and got the drop bowl kind you are showing….HATED IT! I ended up retuning it to Costco and still using my tilt head today.

No comparison with a tilt head and a drop bowl put a tilt head on the better one and you’d have a perfect product. The drop bowl is a pain in the ass.

I truly don’t get how we all are in this capitalistic society we really are here saying shh is cheaper than an appliance bought a year ago. Not to mention terror prices that are phucking real haha. You do you tho guys I just can’t understand why we keep feeding this never ending whole of capitalism

Everyone defending the tilt head is INSANE! The lift is so much more powerful and doesn’t burn the motor out when you use accessories like the grain grinder or grater!

Bowl lift doesn’t fit under the cabinet. That was my deciding factor lol

Drop bowl too tall for the built in cabinet.

Yeah, but the new ones are cheaper because they’re planned obsolescence. It’ll break in a few years guaranteed

Speaking from experience: Both are excellent; just depends on your preference and needs. 🥰

Don't forget. The new mixers are made cheaper and with less metal gears.

So much negative about the lift bowl. I love my lift bowl I bake a lot and I’m about to invest in a 2nd mixer it will be a lift as well!

Harder to Scrape and Add Ingredients: The stationary head leaves less open workspace, making it trickier to scrape down the sides of the bowl or add ingredients while mixing

If you mostly eat food out of a box, or made by somebody else, then either model is too much. You may just want to buy just the spatula , in case that you need to stir your microwaveable casserole. 😆
