What a silly argument. This guy simply looks at life half empty. Why doesn’t he list out all the incredible things about life. The ability to eat good food, to love, to compete, to play sports, to read, to watch movies, to travel, to laugh, to hike, to experience the beauty of nature. I can go on and on. Of course there will be struggle and pain along the way! That’s what makes the joyous moments feel so sweet! Giving your child the ability to experience life to its fullest is the biggest blessing and anything but selfish. What an absolutely depressing take!

I don't care what unc said. lemme talk to the other one. Children are not possessions. They are their own little individuals with their own needs that probably won't match yours. You will never own that individual. Be willing to make space for what they want, not just what you want.
