Steve, I hear what you’re saying about cutting state bloat and making California affordable. I see what you're doing, and I support that. But one thing I don't hear you talk about is what's happening to drivers and everyday people stuck in the system. First, what about FastTrak and these endless Express Lanes? They’re raising bridge tolls for no reason, clogging up regular traffic, and squeezing working drivers who are just trying to get around the Bay Area. Second, look at the nightmare of red tape for state and county assistance programs. People trying to get basic help or services face endless delays and hurdles, almost like the system is designed to wear them down. And it hits working people hard too, the state evaluates eligibility based on gross pay before taxes, meaning folks who get taxed to death and barely have anything left after bills get told they make 'too much' for help. If you're going to bust government bloat, how are you going to fix these broken systems and cut through the red tape for ordinary people?
