Chantelle Poppe :
serve it in a bowl, the heat escapes the flat dish too fast not melting the cheese, in a bowl the cheese gets melted better

Cheese should be room temperature before you pour the hit gravy so it melts

Poutine is from Québec and russet potatoes are the worst potatoes for poutine (the worst for anything really) you need a high sugar potato so they get pretty dark frying and they just taste better. And the sauce should be thicker and darker, preferably.

In Ontario it is more traditional and common for the gravy to be a mix of both beef and turkey gravy. This is more in the Quebec style of poutine.

Sorry, but no. The gravy is much thicker and the curds are much smaller. And green onions??

Close!! Gravy should be a little thicker. And since the gravy is well seasoned, you don’t need to salt your fries. Let the potato speak for itself. Looks yumm!
