I try my hardest to make it all neat and tidy because a messy house wrecks my head with kids it’s impossible and I’m gonna find this out very soon especially with all her toys in a few months/ years time 😂 so I need to just accept when you have kids it is what it is x

I really want to start Tik tok back again but I’ve bought a house and the kitchen is 20+ years old and the bathroom is the same. It’s clean but doesn’t look aesthetic🥹 and I never thought this till I watched Tik tok.. other peoples homes are stunning and mine doesn’t look anything like that. And as a single mother, it took a lot of work to save the deposit and in saving for a new kitchen but it will be years! X

We're all just trying to pay our bills and survive at the moment. I can't imagine having the time or mental energy to criticise people for house their houses look. I dread to think what people would think of my house with half painted walls and a generally unaesthetically pleasing house 😅

I was one of those mums who would drop the kids at school go home and scrub every inch of the house from 9am till 3pm. our house was spotless at all times! it was as you said clinical... i never thought id ever stop that and let things slide, but i went back to work 2 years ago and now my house looks like a laundrette, I dont know when I last cleaned my windows, I haven't seen behind my couch in a good month or two... but I work while the kids are at school now and when we are off we are too busy making memories, so its a quick clean round when I finish work and get some jobs done here and there. I never in a million years thought id let my home be like this. I was OCD with cleaning back then I think

People definitely forget there’s a difference between untidy and unclean. My house is cluttered and there’s stuff about but it’s clean. 😂 My house will never be a show home and I’m ok with that

Does my head in those videos. I live with my son in a half decorated council flat as everything’s just too expensive all at once. Used to make me feel like my home wasn’t proper but the house is safe, happy and clean that’s all that matters

i needed this right now, ive just got really upset with myself as I couldn't do the dishwasher because my back went as I was feeding the cats this evening, theres dishes on the side and ive just had to leave it, it will be done in the morning when things feel a bit better, but if I tried to do it right now, I either couldnt or id end up a heap on the floor

You’ve actually just inspired me to do Tik tok again, but show that because your house hasn’t got a brand new kitchen/bathroom/latest sofa etc it’s still a home and still clean and tidy like you said! my house is messy not dirty. I live in a small 2 bed flat and there's barely any storage at all. I have a chest freezer in my bedroom because theres no room in the living room/ kitchen, a coat stand in my bathroom because my wall are pathetic and the coat hanger fell down 4 times even with the special wall plugs it just put bigger holes in the wall😂 got to work with what ive got😂🤷🏼♀️
