Everyone who’s freaking out can relax. Tom has been Max’s race engineer for a couple of races and I believe his best finish was P2 on a race where they knew they weren’t going to win. Tom was actually going to go to Willams until Max had a meeting with him and said “I want you to be my new race engineer” so they have a lot of trust in each other.
