i contacted my ex and we ended up falling back into our relationship routine but no label and like you said like the koi fish if anything gets too emotional he’ll retreat and he doesn’t want anything to do with it and distant himself. and I’m left with just confusion bc I’ve suppressed myself so much already when i ask for a little bit of clarity he is faced with our history and all of a sudden we can’t be together this wasn’t right.
