@ash_dykes: 83KM on the Sangha River… and things got interesting! 🛶🌍 We pushed towards Ouesso, but after hours of paddling, exhaustion was setting in and daylight was disappearing fast. Obed was struggling to keep up, he had no headtorch, Will’s had stopped working, and mine was the only one left! With a storm rolling in, we found ourselves paddling through complete darkness, using the distant lights of Ouesso to guide us. Eventually, after an 83km day on the river, we made it! 🙌 Another challenging day in the Congo Basin. Project 6 continues! 🇨🇬
