In an instant classic, Poirier outworked Holloway over five rounds, winning a unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 49-46) to claim the interim belt. Third Fight — UFC 318 (July 19, 2025) The trilogy concluded in Poirier's hometown of New Orleans, with the BMF title on the line and Poirier's career at stake.
