I have AFIB which can cause blood clots. My cardiologist prescribed Xarelto, but explained it and gave me the option. He said there was a minor bleeding risk with the medication. He said it was that or the minor risk of a stroke. I'll gladly take that pill every night.

I almost died! I had a blood clot in my shoulder. But I did a lot of heavy lifting so I thought it was soreness. One day I was lifting and felt a pop in my shoulder. My whole arm turned purple. Rushed to the hospital & was rushed to a room. The blood clot exploded and all spread into my lungs. I almost died, life changing. I wish a speedy recovery to anyone with blood clots.

I took Xarelto then eliquiz, ER doctor told me should get rid of dvt calf clot in six months. Blood thinners just kept me from getting worse. Now I take natakinese supplement.
