Two things from a fellow mom, going on 17 yrs now: 1) If you are home all day everyday, you are dressed 100 percent correctly. Are you showering? That is all that is necessary. If you CAN, try to just relax and enjoy this schlub season 2) BUT if you are struggling to feel like the same person you were before you became a mom, then you should absolutely spend some energy reconnecting with that person from before. It *could* be putting more effort into your appearance, OR it could be something else!!! But keeping that sense of continuity of self into motherhood IS important!!
