I am so lucky to born Turkish, the Turkish culture is actually more about being a good grounded person, a bit nationalistic but well grounded, we dont measure people based on how rich or succesfull someone is, but on honesty, if someone is respectful, reliable, a good person, we name that concept vatana millete hayirli. We believe families are the corner stones of society and woman are the most powerfull beings as they are ij charge of the family, the household, they decide which norms and values the family is taking. The culture you live in is based on the American dream which is built on succes and money, but does not say anything about how you acquire these means, so could be dishonest as well.
