🍰 NO BUTTER VANILLA TEA CAKE Ingredients For the Cake: - Eggs — 3 - Sugar — 1 cup (200 g) - Oil — ¾ cup (165 g / 165 ml) - Milk — ⅓ cup (80 ml) - Vanilla essence — 1 tsp - Yellow food colour — 2–3 drops or 1 pinch - All-purpose flour — 1½ cups (190 g) - Baking powder — 1 tsp (4 g) - Salt — ¼ tsp (1.5 g) For the Sugar Syrup: - Sugar — 1/4 cup - Water — 1/4 cup Pan Size: 10 by 5 inch loaf pan Method 1. Beat the eggs and sugar until the sugar is just dissolved. Do not overbeat. 2. Add oil, milk, vanilla essence and yellow food colour. Beat briefly until everything is combined. 3. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Gently fold until the batter is smooth. Do not overmix. 4. Pour the batter into a greased and lined cake mould. 5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30–35 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. 6. While the cake is baking, prepare the sugar syrup. Add equal parts sugar and water to a saucepan and cook until the sugar is completely dissolved. Let it cool slightly. 7. As soon as the cake comes out of the oven, lightly spray it with the sugar syrup to keep it soft and moist. 8. Let the cake rest in the mould for 10–15 minutes. 9. Carefully demould the cake and let it rest for another 10–15 minutes before slicing. 10. Slice and enjoy with your evening tea, or pack it in the kids' school lunch box. ☕🍰 ✨ Tip: Don’t skip the resting time! It helps the cake set properly and gives you beautiful, clean slices. no butter cake, butter free cake, vanilla tea cake, vanilla cake recipe, soft vanilla cake, fluffy vanilla cake, easy cake recipe, tea time cake, homemade cake, simple cake recipe, egg cake, moist vanilla cake, easy baking recipe, beginner baking, baking from scratch, lunch box cake, school lunch box ideas, chai time cake, Pakistani baking, easy dessert recipe, homemade bakery style cake #VanillaCake #TeaCake #EasyBaking #BakingFromScratch #CakeRecipe
