$40/hr x 40/hrs makes $1100 a week after tax. That’s $52,800. Almost nobody is making $80/hr. I used to work 80 hr WEEKS and was averaging around $2,500 a week. Which equals around $130,000 a year. Places don’t even allow you to work that often. Drop a work force that gets you the pay and hours and I will happily work my life away. It’s harder than it looks to make $300 a day when everywhere wants to pay you $20-$25 an hour.

If you're working 8 hour shifts, you would need to be making $37.5 an hour. This is also assuming you dont take ANY time off, no weekends, so good luck scheduling appointments or getting anything else done.
