I looooved being goalie in like every sport I did either after school or in gym class lol, I'm kind of a beast at it for hand ball and floor hockey in particular

Sorry for the slight correction Neil, your content is always on point, but the more common style nowadays is known as the hybrid style. While the classic stand-up style meant you never dropped to the floor under any circumstance, what we would refer to as the butterfly style is the complete opposite. In the butterfly style the goalie drops on his pads for the majority of shots independent of where it's going. The modern hybrid style is a combination of both based on the proximity of the shot taker and the trajectory of the puck where if a shot from the point is heading generally high the goaltender won't drop. I just felt like over explaining but really instead of saying "use the butterfly style", you could have said "employ the butterfly position" and you would have been 100% correct. Sorry again for the correction, it felt important.

I miss the old ebug function. Yes I’m sure this new way is better logistically and all that but I think the old way led to legends when an ebug was called upon that we just won’t get with the new way

Do they choose to be goalies or are they sent there cause they aren't good at the other positions?

fully unrelated but i just realized that i like your voice a lot lmao i don't know if it's the tone or your cadence (maybe both idk) but i can turn away to do something while following up with what you're saying and actually retaining the information instead of it just turning into background noise
