Those equalizers are only good for about 30k miles. That spacer black above the equalizer hanger should carry over to the end of the equalizer so it cant rock so far. i have many videos explaining all this. My Equlizers are rebuildable and will last at least 80k miles before an inspection is needed when using my hanger saver washers that Holt the head of the bolt and the nut. Mine also offer guaranteed proper axo clearance, so your axles do not hit the frame. yours won't with that spacer but most 7k and 8k axle setups do.

Pre trip and maintenance is key but sometimes shit comes loose on these wonderful roads we drive on lol had this bolt come completely loose on my front lift axle and the same bolt same side on the rear axle was loose as well, trailer was dog tracking to the right horribly. Now my trailer is down for atleast a week or so until Diamond C can get the parts to them. Trailer is only 2 months old…

That’s a great heads up, bro… I had it happen on one of my very first trailers and the bolts Waller so much took me three hours to get that thing out of there

I almost like the idea of having them completely separate. Just a hanger for each side of the leaf spring

These trailers are not built for what we do. I take mine to my trailer guy every 3-6 months to replace equalizers and anything else that needs replaced. Yes, i could do this myself but id rather spend time with the family dirt biking or fishing. My trailer guy is top notch!! Anyway, there ya go! Lol

maybe you can answer this. Im a otr truck driver and all the time I see hotshots wrecked out on the interstate where the truck is facing backwards and jack knifed . typically is always single axle trucks with a gooseneck. ive never pulled one personally but is there a specific reason for this? maybe driver ignorance?

have you ever seen the air ride equalizer that can replace that? looks kinda neat, but they are pricey.

That one’s actually not even that bad. I’ve seen them whole ovals instead of a round hole.
