Rebecca needs to get a grip - I didn’t like when my roommate would come in super late either (like 3am, not 9:45-) but I brought it up and we had a mature adult conversation about not turning on a lot of lights or playing anything above an audible volume and she bought me food the next day if she woke me up

I sometimes came in between midnight and 1. either I lost track of time studying or I was at club events I was running so I was out late cleaning up after. thankfully my roommate was a deep sleeper and was often out late due to softball anyways

My roommate was gone once until like 7 am because the girl doing her hair was taking so fucking long and doing other shit while she was doing her hair😭 she left the dorm at 6 pm btw

and also if campus police comes and breaks down your door then you will be suspended from the dorm. you will be kicked out of the dorm if you do not open the door right now.

@noah I cannot even tell you how much I wish you were my RA or R. D! My roommate went into my personal belongings and stole all the cash that I had saved for my first semester for books food everything and when I confronted her, I said listen just put it back and we won’t say anything further I went to class came back and she had ransacked the entire dorm. Even taking the closet doors off their hinges took whatever she wanted and left… This was at a private Christian university and my resident Director told me “well we can’t borrow her from coming back because we want her to know that God loves her and we want her to feel welcome“ I didn’t know who else to go to so I went to my admissions counselor. She was furious and took me straight to campus Police… My resident director was outrage when campus Police yelled at him and had someone posted at the door until they could change the locks. BLESS YOU.
