I do my absolute best to raise mine the opposite of how I was raised. Shut up and stupid r banned terms in our house. Also, my daughter rubbed my truck with her bicycle handlebar and scratched it. She was hysterical when she told me about it. Sucks for sure that it’s scratched but swallowed all of that cuz her first thought was to go tell dad.

I could never talk about or to my daughter in this way. I don't get how people do. Every night when I put her to bed she's 4 currently I always say "I love you" Daddy is proud of you always, good night see you in the morning" I always say that to her even if she's been "naughty" during the day.
